Thursday 16th July 2026 Update
**Important Update for Bridgnorth and Highley patients**
Thank you for your continued patience and support following the recent disruption to our services.
Blood Tests
A walk-in blood test service will be available tomorrow (Friday 17th July) for both Bridgnorth and Highley patients. This will run from 9:00am to 12:00pm midday at the Highley Medical Practice / Halo Severn Centre, Highley, WV16 6JG, for urgent blood tests only.
You must bring your blood test request form with you.
This will be a sit and wait clinic, so you may experience some waiting time.
Repeat Prescriptions
We are continuing to process repeat prescription requests as normal, so please continue to submit them.
Please note that Peak Pharmacy is currently closed. If you are a Bridgnorth patient and you need to collect a prescription, please access another pharmacy in Bridgnorth that is currently open.
Where possible, we encourage patients to use the NHS App to request repeat prescriptions, as it is the quickest and safest way to do so.
We are continuing to operate a GP and Nurse Practitioner led urgent care service. Priority is being given to patients with the most urgent healthcare needs.
We remain concerned about the wellbeing of our patients and appreciate your patience and understanding during this very difficult time.

Important Patient Notice: Bridgnorth Medical Practice temporarily closed following significant flooding
Please note that this webpage will be updated as more information becomes available.
Dear patients,
We regret to inform you that, following significant flooding at Bridgnorth Medical Practice, the building is temporarily closed while the situation is assessed and made safe.
As a result, appointments scheduled at both Bridgnorth and Highley site are currently cancelled. If you have an upcoming appointment, please do not attend the practice unless you have been contacted with further instructions. We will be in touch with affected patients as soon as possible.
The flooding has unfortunately caused substantial damage to the building, and the safety of our patients and staff must remain our priority. This means we are currently unable to provide services from the Bridgnorth premises.
In the meantime, clinical services are being delivered from Highley Medical Centre, where we are operating a GP and Nurse Practitioner-led urgent care service. Priority is being given to patients with the most urgent healthcare needs.
If you require a blood test, please book an appointment at the Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC). Unfortunately, patients without a booked CDC appointment will not be able to be seen.
